The colors of summer
klanglogo invites you to discover Walther Prokop's enchanting music: The colors of summer, shadows of autumn. Wather Prokop's piano song cycles grow from their literary originals. Always concentrated, never compressed. Hear the music in the klanglogo weblounge. The composerWalther Prokop, born 1946 in Rosenheim, lives and works in Gars am Inn, east of Munich. He studied composition and school music in Munich, his teachers Franz X. Lehner and Wilhelm Killmayer gardened his "composional rank growth" and helped to free himself from Adornesque avantgarde ideology. At age 60 it is time to not only look into the future, but look back, to take stock of the past, to remember idols and friends thankfully - and to share this process of reflecting one's artistic way with the audience. Walther Prokop's compositions are published by k.o.m. musikverlag. Tracklist
